Is this combination oven worth it?
Convection ovens cook faster than traditional ovens, which means faster food preparation (and lower energy consumption). They also retain moisture better than traditional ovens and cook more evenly. Steam ovens can keep more nutrition in food, keep the better color and eliminate the need for oil.
Tipesmart style heating pipe and free design of hot air circulating wind wheel are adopted, with lightweight, balanced air volume, flexibility and durability, and not easy to deform.
The furnace door adopts double-sided tempered glass, and the furnace door adopts coated tempered glass, which can effectively prevent heat loss and enhance the heat radiation effect in the furnace.
The peripheral surface and body of the oven are made of international 304 stainless steel and aluminum plated plate respectively.
With a built-in or external steam system, it can quickly generate saturated steam with a certain pressure, and make the baked products obtain uniform steam to make the quality of products consistent.
What to consider before buying an oven?
Before choosing an oven to bake, we want to give you two considerations:
Oven type and capacity
You need to answer two questions to make a decision: how many people do you want to bake bread for? How often do you plan to use the oven?
If the number is small, you can choose a small compact oven.
If you bake more frequently and in larger quantities, and your kitchen has enough space, or you plan to renovate your kitchen, you should choose a built-in oven or a larger oven like this.
Useful bake modes
If you only want to bake cakes, cupcakes, and cookies, and your budget is low, choose a small capacity oven because they have only one baking mode.
However, if you are going to make bread, kebabs, or trays, choose a large capacity oven because they will provide you with a better baking experience because they provide a special baking mode for these dishes.
What are the advantages of a hot air oven?
Advantages of Hot Air Ovens
It can work at a higher temperature than an autoclave and is faster. It kills the bacterial endotoxins. It's the only method to sterilize oils and powders. It's economical and safe.
Maintaining an aseptic environment is the primary requirement of tissue culture labs. Multiple strategies are put in place by tissue culturists to avoid any harmful contaminants. They include regular cleaning of the culture rooms, wiping the culture area with alcohol, sanitizing hands before working, wearing lab coats, autoclaving all equipment and culture media, and using effective chemicals like PPM (Plant Preservative Mixture) to prevent culture contaminations.
But did you know a hot air oven can also be used to sterilize some of the lab equipment? Yes, they aren’t common to hear but they also have some contribution to maintaining the aseptic condition for tissue culture processes.
How does the Rotary Oven furnace operate?
Designed with a turntable, industrial electric rotary ovens move materials in circular motions inside the heating chamber. As the process picks up pace, the hearth can be rotated on a continuous basis, manually and with the help of an indicator. The industrial rotary ovens can be built with single or multiple heat zones and the process involving loading and unloading occurs at a single location.
The feed materials are passed through the rotating cylinder along with a stream of hot gas with the help of rotary cascade dryers. The feed is elevated by internal lifters or flights and then is dropped in a curtain from where it comes down cascading from the top, along the length of the dryer. The carefully designed flights in this case are important in preventing asymmetric curtains. The materials inside move from one side of the dryer to another due to the angle of inclination of the drum and the rotational movement of the same. Some industrial rotary ovens come with double and triple pass units with each drum nestled within the previous drum.
What is the use of tunnel oven?
Tunnel ovens use different conveyor speeds to allow different cooking or baking times. A tunnel oven is continuous, rather than using a batch process. Tunnel ovens can be used to produce bread, pies, cakes, cooked meats, and many others.
How it works?
A tunnel oven requires 5 basic and minimum components for its operation:
An enclosed and thermally insulated box that functions as the baking chamber to prevent heat leaks and maintain process temperature.
A heating mechanism that in most cases involves the combustion of fossil fuels.
A convection system that forces the circulation of hot air inside the baking chamber.
A transmission system (motor, shaft, pulley, gearbox, and band) to make products move from one end to the other across baking chamber length.
Extractors or exhaust stacks to safely remove products of combustion and prevent water vapor accumulation inside the baking chamber.
A loading and unloading system which orientates pans so that these can be grouped and sent as discrete rows.
